Follow these steps for great-looking candles with perfect tops and sidewall adhesion:

1. Heat the wax to 160°F.
2. Mix in up to 10% fragrance.
3. Pour slowly into room-temperature jars.
4. Let your candles cool slowly to avoid shrinkage and sinkholes.

Most candles up to 16 ounces will finish with smooth tops and excellent sidewall adhesion when poured above 135°F. Cooling slowly ensures even smoother tops.

Our soy wax is made from low-melt soy wax, improving adhesion and reducing frosting. It melts around 115°F, making it perfect for cooler climates or winter pours. However, be cautious during summer shipping, as the lower melting point may cause the wax to soften.
